2 people found dead in south Bathurst residence

Two people were found unresponsive in a Bathurst home Saturday and later pronounced dead, police say.

Two people were found unresponsive in a Bathurst home Saturday.

They were later pronounced dead. 

Officers responded to a call at a residence in south Bathurst and found the individuals, according to a Facebook post by Bathurst police. 

Police provided no other details about the victims or what happened that led to their deaths.

Luc Foulem, a spokesperson for the force, said he had no updates on the incident. 

He also said there is no safety risk to the public. 

The investigation continues.
