Stuart John Williams, 49, was in the house when police responded to a 911 call Wednesday afternoon.
"We received a call that there was a possibly dead male at an address on Churchill Street in Moncton," said Const. Damien Theriault.

Cpl. Mike Gaudet said police are still looking for clues.
"At this point in time the investigation is continuing," Gaudet said at a Thursday press conference. "The forensic identification unit is still at the scene. There's no … confirmation or mention of any weapon being used."
