Environment Canada issues warnings for central, northern regions

Weather warnings are in effect for most of New Brunswick for Thursday, which is likely to be marked by snow, ice and freezing rain.
Central and northern regions of the province are expecting 15 to 25 centimetres of snow from Thursday morning until Thursday night, according to Environment Canada.
Some more southern and southeastern regions have special weather statements in place, expecting up to 15 centimetres of snow beginning Thursday morning.
Thursday's snow is expected to mix with or change to ice pellets or freezing rain at times during Thursday afternoon.
CBC meteorologist Tina Simpkin said the storm will begin between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Thursday, finishing up around supper time.
Environment Canada warns that drivers should be prepared for winter driving conditions.
The Colorado Low, a type of weather system that originates from Colorado, is expected to bring snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, rain and gusty winds for all of the Maritimes, with New Brunswick expected to get the heaviest snowfall.
According to CBC meteorologist Ryan Snoddon, another storm looks poised to hit the Maritimes on Sunday, also appearing to bring snow, ice, rain and wind.
