Enjoy some of the best music in Yellowknife at the Longshadow Music Festival

The Longshadow Music Festival returns to Yellowknife, with four days of music and fun. 

From June 6 to 9, this set of events will feature up-and-comers as well as established singer-songwriters in the N.W.T.

The acts

June 6, 2024, features Songs at Sundown, which brings a cache of Yellowknife singer-songwriters to the Sundog Trading post with doors opening at 7 p.m.

June 7, 2024, has the incredible Garneau String Quartet, bringing free music to the Great Hall of the Legislative Assembly at 7:30 p.m.

June 8, 2024, brings the previous two nights' entertainment together as the Yellowknife singer-songwriters and the Garneau String Quartet play local songs and folk music at the Top Knight with door opening at 7 p.m.

June 9, 2024, closes the festival out with a Musicians, Let's Talk event featuring three presentations and discussions happening at Carmen's Studio, above Fiddles & Stix from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
