Tim Hortons in Parrsboro broken into by man with caffeine craving: police
Cumberland District RCMP say employees at the Parrsboro Tim Hortons showed up to open shop early Sunday morning and found a man trying to make himself a coffee and an iced cappuccino.
'No employees or doughnuts were harmed during the incident,' say police
Cumberland District RCMP have arrested a man after employees at the Parrsboro Tim Hortons showed up to work early Sunday morning to find someone inside trying to make themselves a coffee and an iced cappuccino.
The Tim's employees called police at approximately 4:00 a.m., but the suspect left before RCMP arrived.
A 22-year-old Conquerall Mills man was arrested later in a parking lot at a nearby business.
He is facing charges of break and enter and mischief.
The man will appear at Amherst Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 14.
Police say after a small mess was cleaned up, the Tim Hortons was able to open in time to serve patrons.
"No employees or doughnuts were harmed during the incident," said police.
