CBC Nova Scotia's Do Crew is ready to help
Do you know of an organization that needs a hand? How about 10?
The Do Crew wants you!
Are you interested in volunteering but don't know where to start?
The CBC Nova Scotia Do Crew is a monthly initiative spearheaded by Louise Renault of Daybreak Maritimes and Halifax's Information Morning celebrating the spirit of volunteerism and community in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
For a few hours every month, alongside Louise, the Do Crew — consisting of CBC listeners, viewers and readers — lends a hand at an event or fundraiser for a local organization. Learn about the inaugural Do Crew project here.
Need the Do Crew to help you?

- Be a non-profit or not-for-profit organization (in the HRM area)
- Be in need of hands-on help
- Need the help of 8 to 15 volunteers for an activity that will last 2 to 4 hours (exceptions will be considered)
- To submit a request for Do Crew help, or if you have any questions, get in touch with Louise at DoCrewNS@cbc.ca
