Drone captures Halifax Harbour from above

A Halifax photography enthusiast has shared a breathtaking drone video capturing the city and its harbour from the sky.

David Fraser's video starts with a rapid approach to Georges Island before coming along the Halifax shore. The drone then powers straight up over a dock.

"I've always been taught by photography mentors to take a different perspective. Everything you see every day is about five to six feet up, and so go down, go up," he said. 

"This can give me a different perspective on this city."

He started flying the new drone in the last month. Fraser, a lawyer with McInnes Cooper, said it enhanced his love for the city and plans to capture more drone perspectives.
