A new Halifax café is rolling the dice by offering customers old-school board games along with cappuccinos and espressos.

The Board Room Game Cafe on Barrington Street charges $5 per person to play its 400 games, from Monopoly to Friends.

Owner Chris Moulton said it’s part of a trend away from virtual reality to ordinary reality.
