Two men arrested yesterday in Hamilton, Ont. in connection with the 2010 murder of 21-year-old Ryan Matthew White, have been released from police custody without charges.
A 23-year-old, formerly from Halifax and a 25-year-old, formerly from Dartmouth were arrested in Hamilton, Ont. Wednesday afternoon, with the help of the Hamilton Police Service.
A third person, a 20-year-old Dartmouth man, was arrested at 9 p.m. on Wednesday during a traffic stop on Highway 118 in Dartmouth. All three men have since been released without charges.
Const. Holly Smith said the investigation is ongoing and investigators say they are confident there are people who have information about White's homicide.
"We'll continue to move forward. The investigators will be relentless in pursuing any type of leads and, again, we know people out there know what happened, we know people were there when it happened," Smith said. "If there's any information out there that people have assisted... the person responsible for Ryan's homicide, either before or after, they too will be pursued and charges will be laid in relation to their connection to the homicide."Police are urging anyone with information in this case to contact police.
