After a weekend of power disruptions across the province, Nova Scotia Power found itself dealing with more outages on Monday.

Power outages fluctuated throughout the day because of stormy weather and incidents relating to those conditions.

For most of the day, thousands were without power. Most of the outages have since been restored.

Much of the province was hit with 20 hours of freezing rain Thursday evening into Friday, with winds at times gusting up to 120 km/h per hour overnight Friday.

The power was out for more than 40,000 people at one point on Friday.
