Missing Pictou County man found safe

A 77-year-old man who was reported missing in Kings Head, N.S., on Tuesday, has been found safe.

The man was reported missing after he told his family he was going for a walk but didn't return.

Pictou County RCMP said local ground search and rescue teams, a RCMP police dog team and RCMP members searched for the man throughout the night.

Police reported that the man was found safe early Wednesday.
