South-end Halifax death was a homicide, police say

The death of a 65-year-old man found at a residence on South Street in Halifax was a homicide, Halifax Regional Police said Monday.

The death of a 65-year-old man found at a residence on South Street in Halifax was a homicide, Halifax Regional Police said Monday.

The man was found dead Sunday in his residence at 10:55 p.m. on the 5200 block of South Street.

The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy Monday morning and the death has now been ruled a homicide, police said.

The man's name has not been released.
