Death of Dartmouth woman ruled not suspicious

The medical examiner has ruled the death of a Dartmouth, N.S., woman is not suspicious. The woman was found dead inside a residence on Rosedale Drive on Sunday night.

The sudden death of a Dartmouth, N.S., woman is not suspicious, according to a news release Tuesday from the Halifax Regional Police. 

Officers were called to Rosedale Drive at 9:30 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a sudden death. A woman was found dead inside a residence.

The woman's age and identity have not been released. 

Police spokesperson Const. John MacLeod said Monday they were awaiting the results of an autopsy before deciding on their next steps. 

The release Tuesday said the medical examiner completed the autopsy and ruled the death not suspicious.
