Keeping the Remembrance Day poppy pinned to your coat or shirt can be a challenge, as experienced by Robyn Bresnahan, host of CBC Radio's Ottawa Morning.

Her frustration resonated with others, too.

Twitter provided eight ways to solve the dilemma.

1. Push the pin back.

2. Use clay or Play-Doh.

3. Use a Canada pin.

4. Use tape.

5. Use backs of earrings.

6. Use eraser from lead pencil.

7. Replace poppy with poppy pin.

8. Replace the poppy with a poppy sticker.

The Royal Canadian Legion also has the poppy sticker, which can be helpful for many elementary schools. ((Robin Rowland/CBC))
In the end, having to buy multiple poppies might not be the worst thing as one person points out.
