I would like someone to invent a poppy that actually stays where it is supposed to.

Twitter provided eight ways to solve the dilemma.
1. Push the pin back.
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> someone showed me if you push the pin back through the poppy, it stays put. Haven’t lost a poppy since!

2. Use clay or Play-Doh.
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> I put a tiny bit of clay or play dough over the tip! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/teachertips?src=hash">#teachertips</a> 😊

5. Use backs of earrings.
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> I use an earring back
—@temptrish
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> I've used earring backings to keep poppies in place. Just put an earring backing on the pin!

<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> All they need to do is provide a transparent plastic or rubber type earring backing on the poppy pin.

6. Use eraser from lead pencil.
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> take the eraser off a lead pencil and use it as a stopper.

<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> heavy duty pin on ones are great! Got them at the army half marathon. <a href="https://t.co/rZU2MP01hy">pic.twitter.com/rZU2MP01hy</a>

8. Replace the poppy with a poppy sticker.
<a href="https://twitter.com/RobynBresnahan">@RobynBresnahan</a> I'd like to see the poppy sticker catch on.
