Brantford man charged in fatal 5-vehicle crash near Napanee
25-year-old charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death

A 25-year-old man from Brantford, Ont., has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death after a fatal collision near Napanee last September.
The man has also been charged with two counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm, according to a statement from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on Wednesday.
The charges stem from a five-vehicle crash on Highway 401 between Kingston and Belleville at about 10 p.m. on Sept. 18.
Two transport trucks and three passenger vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred about 30 kilometres west of downtown Kingston and 45 kilometres east of downtown Belleville.
The driver of one of the passenger vehicles was killed, while two other people were injured.
The accused was arrested May 8 and released from custody following a bail hearing. He is scheduled to appear in court in Greater Napanee on June 3.
