When have you needed to start over in your life?

In Bone And Bread, the sisters created by Saleema Nawaz need to start over (and try to start over) many times, after they deal with death, birth, illness, breakups, and more.

So CBC Radio's All In A Day organized an event where Nawaz and her Canada Reads defender Farah Mohamed talked about the challenges of those characters starting over.

They were also joined by audience members who shared their memories of starting over, telling stories of international moves, near-deaths, cheating spouses, and more.

Tying it all together was the music of Casey Mecija and the Mehdi Cayenne Club.

You can listen to the highlights, featuring host Alan Neal, below.
