Everything you need to know about the provincial race in Ottawa and eastern Ontario
Voters can now cast ballots, polls open Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Voters in eastern Ontario's 16 provincial ridings will have a chance to cast their ballots for their next member of Provincial Parliament by Feb. 27.
The region elected nine Progressive Conservative, five Liberal and two New Democratic Party MPPs in 2022.
In the years since Carleton's MPP Goldie Ghamari became an Independent, the Liberals took Kanata-Carleton from the PCs and the Bay of Quinte stayed PC through a byelection.
With advance voting done and mail voting applications closed, voting is still possible at local election offices until Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Voting day is Thursday, with polls open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Elections Ontario has more information on the range of voting options.
You can find a list of the 2025 candidates so far below, plus a little bit about each riding. Nominations closed Feb. 13.
