Enjoy the break from the rain today and Thursday, because it won't last very long in Ottawa and Gatineau.

A few clouds are expected overnight with winds becoming light and a low of about 1 C.

More clouds will roll in Thursday morning as the high reaches 14 C. It'll stay cloudy Thursday night with a 60 per cent chance of rain and a low of 5 C.

The rain starts in earnest Friday with a high of 9 C, and continues Friday night as the low reaches 6 C.

Showers continue Saturday and Saturday night with a high of 13 C and a low of 4 C, respectively.

And so far, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday all bring more chances of rain.
