Ottawa Public Health continues to crack down on students at local schools for failing to keep their immunization records up to date.

In the latest round of suspensions issued March 1, OPH ordered more than 950 intermediate and high school students from the Ottawa Carleton District School Board to stay home until they submit documentation proving they've been immunized.

OPH issued suspension letters to 7,350 students from all four local school boards between Dec. 15, 2015 and March 1, 2016.

So far OPH has issued a total of more than 56,000 suspension notices in advance of the final round of suspensions on March 8.
