Police charge 4th man in February homicide
A fourth man has been charged in connection with the February slaying of a 19-year-old Ottawa man at a home in the city's west end.
Michael Swan died of gunshot wounds after police allege a group of men entered his home at 4139 Moodie Dr., near Brophy Drive, in the early morning of February 22 and fatally shot him.
Neighbours reported that Swan had lived in the home with two roommates for several months.
Police later tracked down three men near Ganonoque, Ont., more than 100 kilometres southwest of Ottawa, and arrested them.
Jointly charged with first-degree murder were Kristopher Allan McLellan, 20; Dylon Tyrone Barnett, 19; and Kyle Mullen, 19.
On Thursday police arrested a fourth man in connection with the case after tracking him down with the aid of Toronto police.
Samuel Tsega, 19, of Ottawa, has been charged him with manslaughter, robbery and forcible confinement, and is scheduled to appear in court later Friday.
