The jerseys were specially designed for the NHL's 100th year, and will be worn on Dec. 16 in Ottawa, when the Senators face-off against the Canadiens. The long-awaited game marks 100 years since the first NHL meeting between the two teams.
The Senators limited edition jersey has a few noticeable differences — including a large white 'O' where the familiar Senators emblem usually appears.

To symbolically pay homage to the NHL's centennial year, silver twill is used on the league's official crest. In between the black and red stripes is a silver band, that's embossed with each year the Senators won the Stanley Cup.
The game will be played at TD Place, outdoors, on ice provided by the league.
