17 bills left unpassed in the P.E.I. Legislature
When the fall sitting of the Legislature closed Thursday the government left behind 17 pieces of legislation it introduced but did not pass.
When the fall sitting of the Legislature closed Thursday the government left behind 17 pieces of legislation it introduced but did not pass.
Government could resume work on the bills if it sits in the spring without first proroguing. If there's a prorogation or if the House is dissolved to make way for an election, each bill would have to be re-introduced for debate.

The Opposition also tabled four bills, none of which passed. The Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act was sent to committee for review.
