Eight young men from Prince County have been sentenced to serve two years each in prison for their roles in a violent home invasion last year.

Eight young men from Prince County have been sentenced to serve two years each in prison for their roles in a violent home invasion last year.

Nine people were involved in the break-in at a house in Albany in August. Some of the young men, wearing masks, tasered the victim and attacked him with their hands and feet.

In March the ringleader, 20-year-old Dustin Noonan, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison. The other eight were sentenced in Summerside on Thursday.

In addition to the two year sentences, the eight will have to pay $1,865 restitution for money and an iPhone that were stolen.
