Gas prices in P.E.I. have dropped 10 cents per litre in just a week.

At midnight, the price of regular self-serve dropped by 5.1 cents per litre. That came after a decrease of 5 cents per litre on Oct. 10.

The average price now stands between 123.7 and 124.8 cents per litre.

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission says continued decreases in the world market have led to the second price drop in a week.

Furnace oil is down a cent and diesel prices are steady.
