New Brunswick harness driver Gilles Barrieau won his fourth Governor's Plate in a row Saturday at Red Shores in Summerside.

Barrieau was driving DG's Camme. The win marks the horse's second straight Plate win.

This year marked the 47th running of the Governor's Plate. It's one of the most prestigious races of the year in P.E.I., with a purse of more than $22,000.

Barrieau has won the Governor's Plate a total of five times, beating Dr. Ian Moore's record.
