Mike Duffy announces Senate expenses repayment

On Feb. 22, 2013, Senator Mike Duffy announced on CBC P.E.I.'s Compass that he would repay Senate living expenses.

That repayment is a central point in Duffy's trial on 31 charges of fraud, breach of trust and bribery.

It was later revealed the money Duffy repaid was given to him by then-PMO chief of staff Nigel Wright. Wright is testifying at Duffy's trial this week, and the interview on Compass has come up in that testimony.
