#MobileMuslims campaign rolls into P.E.I.
'You cannot offend us and it's our job to answer questions that are on your mind.'
A campaign called #MobileMuslims has rolled on to Prince Edward Island as part of a coast-to-coast tour.
The group members set up what looks like a food truck in prominent locations and provide information about the teachings of Islam.
The goal is also to remove misconceptions about the religion, according to James Sinclair, a spokesperson and a missionary in training with Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'.
40 day tour
"It looks similar to like a food stall but when it opens up you can see that the only food that you're going to get from here is knowledge," said Sinclair. "There are books and flyers, educated people who will answer any questions that you have about Islam. You cannot offend us and it's our job to answer questions that are on your mind."
The 40 day tour, which began on July 13 in St.John's, includes stops in 25 towns and cities across Canada. That includes Montague and Charlottetown.
It will wrap up in Vancouver.
