2 Island acts coming to the stage
The Cavendish Beach Music Festival announced the lineup for its emerging artists stage Thursday.
The stage will feature some home-grown talent with eight east coast performers, including two from P.E.I.
Bridgette Blanchard of Hunter River will be on the stage, as will the duo of Emma Bowers & Olivia Blacquiere.
East coast artists include Mike Biggar of New Brunswick and Adyn Townes of New Brunswick.
The stage will include artists from across the United States as well: John King of Georgia, Stephanie Quayle of Montana, and the 13-year-old prodigy from Tennessee, EmiSunshine.
Songwriters circles
The festival also announced lineups for the songwriters circles, with different hosts for each of the three days.
Gordie Sampson will host Friday and Saturday, and Mike Biggar on Sunday.
Those circles will also be held on the emerging artists stage.
The festival runs from July 7-9.
