The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce presented awards Wednesday evening for excellence in business.

The awards covered a wide range of industries, from a dairy to a soapmaker to a microbrewery.

An independent panel of judges chose the finalists from more than 60 nominees chosen by their peers.

  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Ray Murphy.
  • Chamber Volunteer of the Year: Sandy Gillis.
  • Not-for-Profit Excellence: Hospice Palliative Care Association of P.E.I.
  • Excellence in Export: DME Group.
  • Workplace Excellence: Murphy Hospitality Group.
  • Excellence in Retail: Moonsnail.
  • Emerging Business Excellence: Upstreet Craft Brewing.
