The Charlottetown Islanders quest for 10 playoff wins in a row fell short after a 5-4 loss to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown on Saturday.

The defeat leaves the best-of-seven QMJHL semifinal series tied 1-1.

The Islanders led going into the third period, but the Armada scored three in the final period, including the deciding goal in the final minute.
Daniel Sprong scored two goals for the Islanders, while Kameron Kielly and Pierre-Olivier Joseph added one apiece.
For the Armada, Alex Barré-Boulet scored two goals, while Tobie Paquette-Bisson, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Morgan Adams-Moisan chipped in with one goal each.
Final. The Armada score with 54 seconds left to take a 5-4 lead and win the game. The series is now tied 1-1.

The Islanders took the opening game 3-0 Friday night.
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Boisbriand, Que., at the Centre d'Excellence Sports Rousseau.
