Charlottetown veterans have a place to go to speak face-to-face with staff at Veterans Affairs again.

A district office was reopened in the city on Wednesday.

The office provides a place where veterans can meet personally with Veterans Affairs to discuss services and benefits. It was one of nine in the country closed by the previous Conservative government. The new Liberal government had committed to reopen it in November.

The office is at 191 Great George Street.

A grand opening of the office is being planned.
