Route 2 reopened in Tracadie Cross after truck overturns

Route 2 in Tracadie Cross, P.E.I., has reopened following a tractor-trailer overturning Friday morning.

Police said the lone male driver was not hurt in the collision and the road was reopened at 1:30 p.m.

Police received the call for the overturned truck around 9:30 a.m. Friday. (Brian Higgins/CBC)

Sgt. Leanne Butler, operations NCO for Queens District RCMP, said police were called around 9:30 a.m. 

Police said the investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
