A Charlottetown landmark has reopened nine months after it was destroyed by fire.

The new Maid Marian's is set back from the old location on the Brackley Point Rd, to allow for more parking. It retains the old green-gabled look, but has 10 more seats than the old restaurant.

Fire inspectors were unable to determine what caused the fire that burned out the business last May.

Sherwood Drug Mart was also destroyed. It is back up and running beside the Sherwood Medical Centre.
