This time last year, a storm that dropped a whopping 86.6 centimetres of snow on the Island.

That storm brought February's snowfall up to a total of 197.4 centimetres in Charlottetown.
Between November and April, a record-breaking 551 cm was recorded at Charlottetown Airport.

By contrast, only 70.8 centimetres of snow has fallen so far in February of 2016.

Since November, a total of 246.6 cm of snow has been recorded in Charlottetown.
