The Malpeque MP said cooler heads will prevail now that the United States election has been settled.

The Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group works on issues common to both countries.

Easter said most of the elected representatives in the U.S. make their decisions on fact-based research, not rhetoric.
He added he hoped the new president wouldn't damage the trade relationships P.E.I. has for fish, potatoes and aerospace.
