There are a lot of ways to make the most of winter. You can embrace the season by skiing, skating, sledding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling. Or you can stay cosy inside as the snow falls outside.
This week, Island Morning launched a contest asking you to send in your best winter fun photos. And you delivered!
Here are just a few of the great photos you sent in, along with seven great ways to make the most of the winter season.
1. Slide down a hill
Lois Praught of Summerside was drawn as the winner. She sent in photos of her grandsons sledding. Spend the whole day outside Marc Brunet and his daughter made the most of the snow while she was home on a study break last winter. 'I shovelled my way to our fire-pit, created carved-in snow benches, get the fire going and cooked sauces on the open fire,' he wrote. (Submitted by Marc Brunet) 6. Build a snowman
