The city said Tuesday that one tree was found on 8th Avenue, the other on Grey Street.

Officials note that people are advised not to prune elm trees between April 1st and Aug. 31, to prevent the spread of the disease.

They added that Regina has lost 74 trees to Dutch elm disease, in the last 32 years.
