Crown prosecutors want Aaron Benneweis sentenced to just under two years, followed by three years probation, after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting and exploiting a teenage student at Saskatoon's Christian Centre Academy, now known as Legacy Christian Academy. 

Jennifer Beaudry attended a private Christian school in Saskatoon until 2013. Beaudry says the school’s former athletic director sexually exploited her when she was a teen and didn’t face enough consequences. Ten years later, he faces criminal charges.
