Saskatoon police say four people were taken into custody after a weapons complaint in Pleasant Hill Tuesday afternoon.

Police said they received a report at about 12:15 p.m. CST of a man seen with a firearm at a home in the 300 block of Avenue V South.

Officers set up a perimeter, using the police armoured rescue vehicle as a precaution, and sent out a news release asking people to avoid the area. Those traffic restrictions have now been lifted.

While police have taken suspects into custody and said charges are pending, they noted Tuesday afternoon that a firearm had not yet been located and the investigation was continuing.
