Extreme cold warnings end in Saskatchewan

Areas around Saskatoon and Regina were still reporting extreme wind chills on Tuesday morning.

Cold temperatures expected to stay below normal until Wednesday

Extreme cold weather warnings have ended in Saskatchewan. 

Environment Canada ended the warnings for all locations across the province around 11:20 a.m. CST on Tuesday. The warnings were issued on Monday evening. 

Areas around Saskatoon and Regina were still reporting extreme wind chills on Tuesday morning. 

The cold temperatures are expected to stay below normal until Wednesday.

Frostbite on exposed skin is possible within 10 minutes with these temperatures.

Environment Canada advises residents to take precautions with such cold temperatures and to dress appropriately for the weather.
