Family of Monica Burns wants accused killer, Todd McKeaveny, to feel their pain
Burns' sisters camped outside Court of Queen's Bench in P.A. overnight ahead of McKeaveny's bail hearing
The family of Monica Burns waited for Todd McKeaveney to be brought to Court of Queen's Bench in Prince Albert today. As he was led in by police, the family raised their signs displaying their love for Burns and their demand for justice.
"Show him that she's (Burns) loved and he (McKeaveney) needs to feel our hurt," one of Burns' sisters, Sara Carriere-Burns, told CBC News.
Burns' sisters camped overnight out in front of the courthouse with the signs to get their message across to the courts as well.
"It's a way of grieving," said Katherine Burns, another sister of Monica. "And you know, you lean on each other, we all supported each other with this."

The bail hearing didn't last long. It was adjourned until a further date.
The sisters said they didn't regret camping out overnight just to see the suspect for mere minutes outside court.
"It's frustrating but we can be patient. Justice will come," said Michelle Burns.
McKeaveney is charged with second-degree murder in Burns' death.
Burns's body was found Jan. 17 on a snowmobile trail northwest of the city.
According to RCMP, the victim and the man charged were not "known to each other".
