Police confirm the man found north of Balcarres, Sask. last week is 34-year-old Reno Lee, and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
The investigation began in Regina on April 23 and led to the discovery of the man's body in the area approximately 93 kilometres northeast of the city.
Police have notified Lee's family. He is considered Regina's third homicide victim of 2015.
The RCMP, Regina police and Coroner's office have all been involved in the case.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with more information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
