Regina man, 39, charged with 2nd-degree murder after suspicious death Saturday

A suspicious death investigation in Regina has now resulted in a homicide charge.

A 39-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder after a suspicious death investigation in Regina.

Police responded to a home on Cameron Street just before 4:00 p.m. CST on Saturday after a report of an injured woman.

Officers and EMS found Stephanie Coady, 42, in the home. She was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived.

Police arrested Lyle Turcotte, 39, and charged him with second-degree murder. A 39-year-old woman is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

They both made their first appearance in Regina provincial court on Monday.
