Sask. RCMP investigating death at house fire in Air Ronge

Police in Air Ronge are investigating the death of at least one person at a residential fire, and are advising the public of increased police presence in the community.

Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a residential fire, after one deceased person was found at the scene in Air Ronge. 

The RCMP has an increased presence in the community about 230 kilometres north of Prince Albert, they said, noting the fire was on Vanessa Street. 

The RCMP is unable to confirm if the fire is suspicious in nature, and cannot yet provide information on the deceased person. 

Investigators from the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and Saskatchewan Coroners Service will be assisting with the investigation.
