Tyron Brackenridge retires from football

Tyron Brackenridge, a fan-favourite who was one of 19 players released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders after the end of the season, is retiring from football.

Tyron Brackenridge, a fan-favourite who was one of 19 players released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders after the end of the season, is retiring from the CFL. 

Brackenridge, 31, played five seasons with the Riders and was on the team when they won the 2013 Grey Cup.

A linebacker, Brackenridge was popular with the fans. In his announcement he called Saskatchewan his home away from home.
