Community of Langham mourns after tragic crash
Two boys, woman died Monday in collision with semi

The community of Langham, Sask., is mourning after a tragic crash left two children and a woman dead.
The woman, 26, was from Corman Park while the two children, a four-year-old boy and a nine-year-old boy, were both from Langham.
"It's very sad. I feel so sorry for the families that lost their loved ones. I can't imagine what they are going through," Joe Penner said.
The crash happened early Monday morning. RCMP said a westbound semi-tractor trailer hauling trucks was driving down Highway 16, roughly 50 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon, when a truck crossed the highway from a rural road.
There were seven people in the truck, including the woman and two boys. Four people — including an 11-year-old boy, a five-year-old boy, a 32-year-old man, and a 46-year-old man — were taken to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with serious injuries.
A 53-year-old man from Martensville was driving the semi-trailer. Police say he was sent to hospital with undetermined injures.
The small town of around 1,290 people were shocked by the crash. Akasia Pizzey said she often takes that route to get to the lake during the summer.
"It is actually terrible because they won't be able to grow up and see their future," she said, adding the roads can be difficult if there is ice.

Kris Moffat said a lot of people in the town commute and use the road. He added that as a father, it struck a chord.
"It was just a really tragic feeling because like, you know, when you have small kids and are part of a small community it really hits home," he said.
Moffat said the town is grieving.
The RCMP said it could be more than two months before collision reconstructionists can piece together what happened. No charges have been laid.
Gaylord Mierau said he understands that it will take some time.
"It was just a horrific mess," he said. "To determine what happened there would be difficult for sure."
