Press coverage

It's time for a Winterruption. Learn more about all the exciting events kicking off in Saskatoon tonight.
Host Stephanie Massicotte speaks with Tanner Bayne, Marketing & Promotions Manager at the Broadway Theatre.
O Brother, Where Art Thou? The famous Coen Brothers movie was released 25 years ago. It features one of the most iconic soundtracks of all-time -- and that is inspiring Saskatchewan musicians to bring it to the stage. The 306 dives into what makes that music so special.
When the Montreal band La Sécurité take the stage, they always bring the party! In fact, they've got about a 95 percent success rate in getting the audience up to dance. They're doing just that in Saskatoon as part of Winterruption. Host Shauna Powers checks in with Éliane Viens, the band's lead singer.
Regina theatre artist Kris Alvarez has created a show that's inspired by the stuff in her parent's home. But Banana Musik is about more than just stuff. It's about memory.... and care.... and the way family dynamics change across time. Kris and her parents performed the show as part of Saskatoon's Winterruption Festival. She joined host Shauna Powers first.
It's time for a little WINTERRUPTION. Yes, it's that time of year when Saskatchewanians can escape into art, culture and some GREAT music in the dead of winter. Haley Blais is a Vancouver-based singer-songwriter who has turned out catchy but very personal originals since 2014. She's performing a sold out show for Saskatoon Winterruption on Friday at the Broadway Theatre, and joins guest host Laura Sciarpelletti to talk about her career and what's next for her music.
