Canadian golfer Graham DeLaet to donate $500 to Fort McMurray for each birdie made at championship
In his last PGA tournament, DeLaet made 14 birdies over four rounds of golf
Saskatchewan's Graham DeLaet will spend extra time reading the greens this weekend after promising to donate $500 for every birdie he gets to the rescue mission in Fort McMurray, Alta.
Starting Thursday, the PGA Tour heads to Charlotte, N.C., for the Wells Fargo Championship at the Quail Hollow Club.

The Weyburn, Sask. native also set up a MyEvent page where people can donate to the Canadian Red Cross for their assistance helping more than 88,000 people who were forced out of their homes this week in light of growing wildfires.
Fort McMurray is 842 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
