Saskatchewan's Graham DeLaet will spend extra time reading the greens this weekend after promising to donate $500 for every birdie he gets to the rescue mission in Fort McMurray, Alta.
Starting Thursday, the PGA Tour heads to Charlotte, N.C., for the Wells Fargo Championship at the Quail Hollow Club.

In his last tournament at the RBC Heritage in mid-April, DeLaet sunk 14 birdies over four rounds of golf. If he repeats that performance this week the Red Cross would be in line for $7,000.
