2 charged after boy, 5, killed in Big River, Sask., hit and run
RCMP have laid charges against two people after a five-year-old boy riding his bike was struck and killed in Big River, Sask., Tuesday evening.

RCMP have laid charges against two people after a five-year-old boy riding his bike was struck and killed in Big River, Sask., Tuesday evening.
Police say the vehicle fled from the scene after the boy was hit. It was later found by police at a business in town.
A man and woman from Big River were taken into custody.
Stephen Lalonde, 43, is charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, failing to stop at the scene and several counts of breach of undertaking.
A 50-year-old woman is also charged with failing to remain at the scene.
Lalonde made his first court appearance Thursday morning. He was remanded and will be back in court Friday morning.
