Police say the death of a man in Saskatoon on Saturday evening was a homicide.

Police identified the victim as David Dustyhorn, 33. His death is the fourth homicide in Saskatoon this year.

According to a Saskatoon Police Service news release, officers were called to an apartment on the 100 block of Confederation Place around 8:30 p.m. CST on May 27.

They found Dustyhorn, who was injured. Dustyhorn was taken to Royal University Hospital, but later died of his injuries, police said.

Police did not say how he was injured.

Major crimes investigators arrested a 33-year-old woman, but she has since been released from custody, the news release said.

On Monday, police tape still closed off the front of the apartment building and a police SUV was parked out front.
